Very nice light and matches the pendant light we purchased previously. Like the other review, the light is very dim and doesn't function as an overhead light you would need when you want bright light. Manufacturer should reconsider yellow glass.

I bought one and I agree with the others -- way too dim. seems kinda stupid to put 120 watts of bulbs into a lamp to light a hall. I threw out the glass -- went to a local stained glass shop -- bought clear bubble glass and added synthetic mica that I had left over from another project. OK -- that's expensive. The light should have been usable out of the box. I am a guy that would paint a wall 6 times till it is the way I want it.

I've bought these fixtures in two sizes. They are great looking and age to a natural copper finish. If you want to keep a shine they aren't for you. I also like that they aim the light down so we don't add to the 'light pollution' of the night sky.

The low price of this beautiful chandelier was an added bonus. I was so pleased to receive this. My husband installed it and we bought shades which added even more luster. If you want to change the look, you may add hurricane lamps over the candelight or decorate with your favorite vines, etc. My sister was awestruck. We love it!

We ordered 2 of these lights to go over our small kitchen island (2'x5') that is in the middle of our kitchen. These lights are very stylish and have clean lines. They have an expensive look without paying the high price. They also look very nice with our stainless steel appliances. We are enjoying all of the compliments with more to come I'm sure.

I was a little reluctant in buying something off the internet without being able to see it "in person", but I loved the simple lines,little details and affordable price. We bought it for our bathroom remodel and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! We mounted it with the lights pointed down onto the vanity and it looks great. A great update to our bathroom at a GREAT price!!

Very attractive Mission style fixture. The only negative is the glass coloring give off a yellow tint when the fixture is turned on. The result is the fixture should be used as an accent to other room lighting and not as the only light source, as it is not very bright.

I tend to do alot of research when I'm buying something for my house. I'm very particular about what my house wears, and I'm pleased to say this fixture makes a great piece of jewlery for my foyer. Best used in an already established/mature landscape design as 24" overall height standout over small plantings. each lantern throws off significant light. Very easy to assemble and wiring connections are quick and easy, the only complaint is the metal is brittle and can snap off at mounting stake with moderate amount of force if so replacement parts are not available, Quite ornate considering you can spend upwards to $1100 for similar lighting its a good middle of the road grade light.

Very easy to install... includes everything you need except for tools and wire-nuts. Cheap construction, though. thin, poorly finished metal that bends easily. This wouldn't be noticeable in a ceiling fixture, but in a bath light that you see up close every day... dissappointing. Now I understand why you don't get to see larger pictures on this site.

I love these lights and they look great in our hallway hanging by chain over the stairway in front hall and ceiling mount in back hallway. You can see both lights at same time plus the candlestick sconces I chose to go with them. I could not find them in a store but did find them in Progress Lighting catalog and wrote down the numbers and had successful order with you. Thank you for making my dream come true.

We loved this light when we found it. We wanted a light that would shine light up and down on the wall. I called the company to verify that it did shine up and down and was confirmed that it did. However, when we recieved the light, it has a top, so light can only shine downwards. We were a little disappointed that it didnt shine both ways, but we still like the light. Looks like a very good quality.

I purchased the first Avalon light last year and really liked the cobblestone finish and alabaster. The product appears well made, good finish, etc. Because the light comes in three different sizes, I was able to purchase the same light in the different sizes needed. In all I purchased I think 8 lights in the various sizes and am happy with all. Good product and the price is seems very reasonable.

The bottom of the bulb is almost even with the lip of the bell on the flourescent version. You will need to hang this rather low to avoid the bulb in the eye effect.

The stair lights look really nice on my new patio, but when it's dark outside and the lights are on you can see light coming out from the outside of the square box. They really need to fit snugger so the light only shines out the louvers.

We searched for this fixture which can be found in solids (black, white and bronze) all over retail web sites. But Allied Trade Group was the only retailer we found who carried a white metal finish.
The fixture uplights the ceiling of our porch and downlights our address and mailbox which are below.

Only complaint - the finish is an applied/painted finish. It is not a brushed aluminum cylinder. It still matches our stainless steel mailbox and address numbers pretty well.

I love the fixture and can't wait to see it up. This is for the foyer that only has an 8 foot ceiling. Most of the fixtures I liked hung down too low. When I saw this one, I feel in love with it. When it was delivered, I liked it even more. I love the fact it has old looking glass in it.

Looks nice, good finish, etc., but it is ovular in shape not circular. Still a nice product. Be careful when removing it from the packing. The glass bowl could drop to the floor if you just pull the side styrofoam off -- instead, lay the item on its side and pull the styrofoam off straight up.

Do not buy this product unless you want a very cheaply constructed bathbar made of bendable thin metal at a highly over-inflated price. Good design concept that went awry. Save your money and invest in a better brand than Progress Lighting. Try Minka Lavery or some others.

This bathroom lighting fixture cost more than I was prepared to pay, but once it arrived I was glad I splurged. It's hard to find brass bathroom light fixtures these days, and this one doesn't disappoint. I put full-spectrum compact flourescent bulbs in it and it is simply gorgeous. Our landscaper had purchased and installed some copper looking tear drop pathway lighting. His explanation for appearance was that in time the copper appearance would deepen in color as it was exposed to the elements. Being disatisfied, I went exploring on the net and found these. They enhance the mood we were creating and the appearance is very satisfying. Yes, we spent more money in the exchange but feel it was well worth it.

I needed this exact style to replace a ten year old model outside my townhouse. This one was less than half the price of the replacement recommended by my community assoc. Not a cheap knock off. Good finish, fits the post as advertised...just make sure all the top screws are tight, tight, tight to prevent water leaking in...that is what eventually killed the first one.

A recent and very terrible storm destroyed one of our outdoor lights. I found the information I needed to acquire a replacement in the original product catalog I used to order all the outdoor lights for our home. The store price was higher than I had expected. I started searching the Internet and found out about this website. Sure enough, I quickly located the outdoor light I needed and the price was tremendously lower than the local electrical store. Ordering was quick and efficient, and the product was delivered in a timely fashion and intact. I was pretty happy when I opened the box. The fixture was well-packaged and came with all of the hardware necessary to install it. It's pretty well made and looks good installed.

The only challenge is installation, which requires a lot of finesse and patience which can be hard when you're holding the fixture over your head. The first step, screwing the mounting bracket into the junction box, is a snap. The problem is attaching the fixture to the bracket. You have to push the bolts through the fiberglass insulation and try to locate them over two holes barely larger than the bolt. After you do that you may find the bolts are too long or too short.

In a cost cutting move the bolts are not slotted so in order to adjust them you have to lower the fixture and repeat the process of finding the tiny holes since they give you a fancy cap nut that no one sees but cannot secure the fixture to the ceiling unless the bolt length is just right.

The Cranbrook Wall Sconce is beautiful and elegant.
It has a motion sensor light that works perfectly. When I come home late, the light immediately comes on as I approroah the front door. I would definitely recommend this outdoor wall sconce.

Purchased these and their coordinating pendants. Great looking. Only caveat: the pendants had to be specially retro-fitted to fit our sloped ceilings, and the pins needed replacement, as the system for hanging on sloped ceilings was inferior.

When off, the lights look great. When turned on, the LED light has a weird, almost greenish tone, and the "bulb" that the light comes with is very dim. These lights were to go above a kitchen island, but after installing one and seeing how strange the quality of light was, we are coming up with another plan.

I agree with the first review...the "instructions" were almost nonexistent- just numbers, letters and arrows; no complete sentences whatsoever! If you don't have an overall knowledge of lighting installation, make sure to seek help!!! Besides that, the chandelier itself is really nice, especially for an average size space; it's not huge and overbearing and looks much more expensive than what it's listed for! Lots of compliments from friends and family!

Poor assembly quality requires you to reassemble the light because the glass fixture does not firmly mount to the fixture. I am getting tired of the poor quality from China that requires me to rebuild an item that was not properly assembled in the first place. I should be reimbursed for the time it took me to properly assemble the light fixture so the glass can be properly mounted.

I hung this fixture close to the ceiling (I used 1 chain link)over my 6 ft farm table and it looks awesome! If I had a kitchen island, I would have done the same. The quality is higher that I expected based upon the very affordable price. WIth free shipping and no tax, it's not worth my time going to the store. Pro: the secondary light...good idea and very useful. also, simple style fits in easily to most decorating styles.
Con: good thing they aren't too expensive, because the large glass part breaks VERY easily. being able to buy just the replacement glass would be helpful.

We needed a little heat in our bath, right where you get out of the shower. Running a plug in heater was costly and dangerous, so we bought this spot heat lamp. It has worked great and has saved us big bucks in electric costs! A piece of cake to install, too.
