This particular item DOES NOT ADJUST for HEIGHT.
It is made to work with a 9-10 ft. ceiling.
We had to return this beautiful item and go with a workaround which is not half as stunning as this design.
Just want you to be aware before you order, because it may save a return.

This chandelier is perfect for my kitchen! It has a modern look without being bizare and is dressy looking, too. It was delivered to us promptly, had all parts that were supposed to come with it and was packed in way that nothing was broken! We were a little nervous about ordering it, but it has been a very good experience.

The "Bale Wires" that protect the bulb at the bottom of the fixture fail after about 2 years. They are made similar to "pot" metal. They simply break in two and fall to the ground with no contact. This has happened to half of the ones we installed. The area this problem has occurred is Seattle.

Beware! This LED light is an AWESOME light. Wonderful brilliance!! BUT... this light requires ADDITIONAL parts and it becomes cost prohibitive. If you are using a wall switch, you need just the light and power supply cord - when "switched on", the light will luminate in the Med mode. If you are plugging it into an outlet, you will the power supply cord and an additional part - a modual that is your "on/off" switch. I called, asked questions, talked on "live chat", and still did not get all the information I needed at one time. I placed three seperate orders before I had working lights. But I DO RECOMMEND them! Just wish all the information/parts needed were on one web page. Hope this helps.

We recently purchased two bath bracket lighting fixtures by Kichler Lighting. The shipment arrived quickly and we were very satisfied with the fixtures - they are well made and installed quickly and relatively easily. The only caveat I have to offer is that if the fixtures are installed so the lights are facing downward, standard-sized bulbs project below the glass shades and will be too visible. This is remedied by using ceiling fan light bulbs. These are much smaller than standard-sized bulbs but just as bright (we used 60W).

This sconce is so elegant and beautiful when installed. It is substantial and not flimsy like most you find at your home improvement retailers. The linen glass is unique and casts a soft white glow without being harsh to look at.

First, the light seems to be of high quality, with a great dark finish. If installing to shine upwards, you should encounter no problems at all. The light does not work well when mounted downwards without additional solutions. The light shades droop down, leaving a sizable gap at their base. This is made more obvious by the extra detail of metal at the base of the fixture.

I ordered this fixture, sight unseen, but being confident that I would like it, having already bought a chandelier in the same style family. It has a simple, elegant look, and the antique brass finish, which is hard to find, is a light antique brass, making it elegant without being too "brassy". I hung it with the shades down and used 60W bulbs, but that provides a lot of light for a small bathroom, so I may be either going to 40W or reversing the fixture to point up. Although the electrician did the installation, it was nice to have a fixture arrive with the only assembly required being to put on the shades.

This large sconce really makes a statement. The glass is darker, warmer, creamier than the photo (which makes it appear to be a white field). Very pretty. I am using six of them in a large transitional kitchen, in place of the usual hanging pendant lights everyone else is using along a perimeter counter. In addition to their unusual charm, they'll offer great task lighting. Can't wait to get them up in the new house!

This lamp is pretty and perfect for my work table, with a graceful quality. It is well balanced both artistically and mechanically. I love that I can adjust it below eye level, to shine directly on my reading or paperwork. A couple things bug me about the cord, though. The BRIGHT yellow color makes no sense. I don't know why K's design team goes to the effort to design a beautiful item then puts a hideous cord on it. The cord should be brown, bronzy or black. Also, when assembled tightly, the cord exits the base at the exact FRONT of my lamp. Despite these minor annoyances, I love it and am glad I got it.

This fixture looks absolutely wonderful in my guest bathroom. I got the old bronze finish & it's got contemporary elegance with a touch of rustic charm. I have it in a downlight mode & it works very well. My husband says the installation instructions could've been a lot simpler. We got it installed, but it took quite a bit longer than expected. I'm seriously considering getting the same fixture in brushed nickle for our master bathroom.

The description of this fixture is inadequate. It comes with 2-12" rods and 2-6" rods and one chain link which allows it to hang fron various angled ceilings. You can buy extra rods or chain links to adjust the hanging height. I prefer the look of rods so went that route. You can cut the rod segments for a custom length, but the rods are not fully threaded internally so you have to cut new threads in the rods. I ordered the custom sized 3/8-27 tap from JTS Machinery online and should receive it shortly. Beware there is a slight difference in the gloss of the rods that come with the fixture and the extra rods, so do not mix them. When hung, the light variation from one fixture to the next keeps you from noticing that the finish is slightly different. The fixtures come prewired with lots of extra wire so they can be mounted from a high ceiling. Each can take up to 100 Watts via a standard threaded lamp base. Overall these are quite lovely fixtures and I am very happy.

I bought 2 chandeliers in this line, which are very handsome in my home's foyer and dining room. Since my home has vaulted ceilings, I was happy to find the wire furnished with them is long enough to accommodate the ceiling height. However, it was a surprise and disappoint-ment that with each lamp came approximately only 2 ft. of chain, which doesn't nearly cover the supplied 7 1/2 ft. of wire! I don't believe a 2 ft. chain length will satisfy most average ceiling height requirements not to mention those with higher ceilings. It was displeasing to me to spend close to $600 for the two chandeliers and then after opening the boxes, to learn only then about the need to order and spend even more on costly additional chain, not to mention the need to wait several weeks for its arrival! My first reaction was it's an underhanded plan by the manufacturer to squeeze a little more money out of the consumer and without warning.

very happy with the fixture however we are in process of switching out bulbs to a 75w instead of the 100w it came with. pretty bright . hope it won't generate too much heat with the 75 w like it does with the 100w.

These landscape pathway lights are architecturally aesthetic with good quality. We've had these same lights in our previous house, and we chose to look for the same light and make in our current home. I think these lights will complement different landscape and house design styles (our previous and current homes differ dramatically in style). I am very please with these lights.

We love this fixture- it is classic and beautiful. Much preferred it as an uplight. It was too low to hang otherwise. We have a dark vanity and bought a dark oxide faucet and it looks striking! The globes are lovely. they shade the lighting quite a bit, and we like it best with the maximum 100 watt bulbs.

I received the Bay Shore Post Mount light, and tried to mount it on my 3" post...the light base was much to big for the pole...I called Lighting Universe and they told me that was normal...just center up the screws and it will be fine...Unreal, I asked if I could return it and they hit me with a 25% restocking fee and shipping for something thats the manufacturing companys problem..I paid over $200.00 for this light and I would think that it would fit a little better...I'm now getting a machinist to make a brass bushing to make the light fit proper for a normal 3" post...Not a very good purchase for me...People or product...Thanks for asking for my review to help others out...I wish that I would of read something like this before I made my purchase...because I would have never made it..

If you want to cut the pipes to a custom length, you will need a 1/8-27 size Straight Pipe (NPS) tap to cut new threads. JTS Machinery sells these online.

I purchased a Kichler 4-light bar from Lighting Universe. We mounted our light facing downward for better light projection and to prevent bugs from collecting inside.

We are extremely happy with our purchase. It functions perfectly and looks beautiful over our plate glass mirror. There were no surprises with regard to the appearance, installation, or function.

This is an attractive fixture and the halogen bulb gives off nice bright light. If you are hanging it over a counter or table, don't hang it too low--the brightness will bother your eyes. The stems are all the same size, and 3" stem on the fixture is not detachable; so there are not a lot of length options. I had to have mine cut.

I'm very happy with this fixture. I purchased two of them for under-cabinet use in my kitchen and am happy with the result.
I was able to use a normal line-voltage dimmer successfully and they dim correctly, with no flicker.
The installation instructions were sparse, but it is put together well. The only note I would have is that it is very easy to over-tighten the romex clamp that comes with it and cause a short-circuit. Make sure to only hand-tighten the screw and you should be fine.
Provides a great quality, even light. They do heat up the cabinet above them slightly when on full brightness - but when connected to a dimmer, the heat output is minimal, with virtually no heat reaching the counter-top.

I would recommend this product.

If you like contemporary, this chandelier is gorgeous. It doesn't cast as much light as I had thought 200 watts of halogen would shed and would not be well suited for my 9 foot long dining table if I did not have other lights in the room. If you want full light on the table, it should not exceed 6 feet long. The fixture quality is good but the instructions are poorly illustrated so read carefully several times before final assembly. I also purchased the 22 inch single light that takes a 150 watt incandescent bulb. This would also make a beautiful chandelier and seems to shed more light. Measure carefully so you know if you need more extension rods for the chandelier; the fixture accommodates them but you will have to seek them out because they are not listed on the same page.

I purchased this product for my own use;a small weekend cottage in the woods. Not wanting to spend alot of money, I looked around quite a bit and finally found this fixture . I have been quite very pleased with my choice. It is simple - but has some character. It provides just the right amount of light needed to illuminate the slow, winding walkway to my cottage. With a lamp at the top and the bottom of my walk, I've done the job!

This Craftsman style Bowl Pendant I purchased looks wonderful. Heavy, beautifully crafted glass in a bronze frame. The fixture throws light very nicely, yet does not have any harsh glare, even when I turn the dimmer switch up all the way. We get lots of compliments on this item. Looks original to the period (1905-1915).

I purchased this light bar to use in the master bath that we transformed into a contemporary spa. It's beautiful with our neutral colors. The amber color of the glass gives off a gental glow with 60 watt bulbs, but if you put 100's in there, it's plenty of light. I would recommend this product for sure.

Everything was fine with the order. I didn't know that sealed wire nuts were included and had ordered connectors. Also, was a bit of a pain having to order bulbs separately. There was a delay in shipping those, and I bought others locally at about 1/3 the cost and tried to cancel the orignial order, only to find it had just shipped.

As other reviewers of this light have said before me, the 4x100 watt halogen bulbs supplied with it make the light of a thousand suns when you turn this one on. We put it on a dimmer switch, and now it is perfect. The finish is beautiful and the quality was evident from the careful packing down to the fine details of the fixture.

This is the second of these chandeliers I've bought, making it clear I really like them. I ordered the antique brass finish, which is hard to find, and it's quite beautiful in this fixture. My house is wired for a swag light where I installed this fixture, so I had to convert the chandelier using a swag kit. This was quite easy to do, and the chandelier was extremely easy to assemble and hang.

This fixture is very cool! The brushed nickel frame is high quality and good looking. The frosted glass pieces are bigger than you may think from the photo, but beautiful nonetheless. The halogen bulbs throw off plenty of light. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, this is it. Well worth the price.

Get over it. Sure the price is low, but what a deal they really are. The lights were all and more than I expected, especially the price. I saw these same fixtures for twice as much. I couldn't be more satisfied about the quality, ease of installation and price. You will too.

I saved 40% on my purchase compared to Lamps Plus. And, I received my order in less than one week, compared to Lamps Plus' shipping estimate of three weeks. From now on, I'll always shop first with Lighting Universe.

This light is very sleek and modern. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful. The light is also very bright! We have already had many complements on the light. We have this light in all of our bathrooms.

This is one of 4 undercounter lights in the kitchen of my newly purchased home. These lights are no more than 3.5 years old and a transformer in one had failed. So to match the others, I purchased the light--but am waiting for the others to fail as well. I am used to light fixtures lasting longer and with no mention of a warranty in the information that was sent with the new light--am just waiting to see if its demise was a fluke or its natural life.

These lights are great for the value. The constsruction is well made, and they are especially good for Florida were the weather is harsh and all outdoor fixtures take a beating. If you are looking for subtle lighting (50W--max)these are great, with easy screw type bulbs and easy on/off water tight seals.
